blueline architects
firm profile
Blueline Architects, p.c. is an architectural planning and design firm located in the Vail Valley of central Colorado. While the firm’s primary focus is the architectural design of residential and commercial buildings for the mountain towns in which we live, our ultimate goal is the incorporation of these designs to create vibrant and sustainable communities based upon the mountain ideals which initially brought us here. In our minds, the site and the needs of the community of people which will inhabit a design are the primary generators of good design, far out-weighting stylistic buzz words or a hypothetical future buyer’s “must have” list.
The firm’s principals, Stuart Brummett and Ken Bridges have extensive experience in both the Vail and Aspen Valleys and have worked on projects ranging from expansive high-end residential homes to affordable multi-family projects; church master planning to retail tenant finishes; high density mixed use projects to a two room cabin in the woods.
An additional aspect of our community-based design approach, is our company goal to spend at least 5% of our time in donating architectural services to non-profit organizations. A sampling of our humanitarian projects can be viewed on this website. We are continually searching for projects and organizations which we can assist in their desire to serve others, and we invite these organizations to contact us to see if we can help them meet their project goals.
We welcome the opportunity to discuss with you the possibility of designing your new home, business, community building, or Sudanese orphanage, and we would love to share with you in person more of our passion for good design and goodness to humanity.
