Stuart Brummett, M.Arch, M.B.A., holds masters degrees in both Architecture and Business Administration from Texas Tech University and maintains a Colorado license to practice architecture. He has experience in high-end custom residential, multi-family, mixed-use, and retail design, having worked for two nationally recognized design firms, Morter Architects of Vail and Cottle Carr Yaw Architects of Basalt. In 2005, Stuart moved to Kampala, Uganda to spend 6 months volunteering as the interim staff architect with Engineering Ministries International (www.emiea.org) prior to the formation of his own design firm, Stuart Brummett Design Studio, p.c., in late 2005. Stuart brings his passion for good design to all projects he undertakes; knowing that a well designed two bedroom mud hut requires as much consideration, if not more, than a 10,000 s.f. mountain retreat.

Stu and his wife, Jane, enjoy living above the Blueline office on Main Street Minturn, hiking and biking in our “Colorado” backyard, traveling at any opportunity, and checking out any one of the many summer concerts our region has to offer.
