Casa de Pescadero

This 2400 sf home sits within a ¼ mile of the beach along the west coast of the Baja Del Sur.  With a perfectly flat lot and blank canvas to work from, the goal was to use local construction methods to create unique experiences through the placement of building elements and landscaping.  Elevated slightly above the earth, the ground level consists of two master suites that define the entry.  The wall along the backside of the entry reorients the experience towards the covered outdoor dining, pool, and views of the ocean beyond.  Ascending the stairs, the views of the ocean become more evident as the open interior of the upper level acts as a frame.  Additional outdoor living spaces on the roofs create wonderful environments to inhabit from sunrise to sunset.
